Delete your Localizable account

Effective October 23, 2026.

This page is for requesting deletion of your Localizable account and the data stored with it.

Request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Localizable account”. In the message:

1. Include the phone number on the account.
2. Include the email you used to sign in.

That email is the deletion request. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel that in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

If you still have the app, you can delete the account yourself. Open Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm. That deletes the account immediately.

What is deleted

Account information is kept while the account exists. Deleting the account deletes your sign-in and removes your profile, messages, likes, matches, blocks, saved list, profile photos, verification photo, and your nearby listing. Deleting from the app also clears the app's database on that phone. An email request removes the same account data.

What can remain

An abuse report can keep the reason and the account ids that were part of the report. A bug report you sent can keep the text you wrote. Google may keep crash and analytics records under its own schedule, and short-lived backups can take a while to roll off. A copy of your profile can remain on another person's phone until that phone refreshes.
